Vinemount Quarries is situated on the Niagara Escarpment in Stoney Creek, Ontario. Since acquiring the property in 1984, the Waterford Group has extracted and used limestone to produce a range of granular and premium clear products. With substantial aggregate reserves, the quarry will serve the construction industries in this area well into the future. In addition to its aggregate products, Vinemount Quarries also offers numerous services for its construction-industry clients. Vinemount accepts materials for recycling such as concrete, asphalt and soil, and rehabilitates these materials in accordance with environmental guidelines set by the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Ministry of Environment. The rehabilitated materials are then resold and reused, helping clients reduce their environmental footprints.

Vinemount also offers its unique “leave and load” service. Construction companies can bring their extracted fill to Vinemount Quarries for proper re-use. Once the fill is unloaded, Vinemount’s aggregate products can then be loaded and backhauled to the construction site. By streamlining the soil delivery and product retrieval systems, this innovation helps customers of the Waterford Group save time and money.
