Canadian Material Handling (CMH) provides a unique service designed to streamline customers’ waterborne loading needs. At its site in Nanticoke, Ontario, CMH owns and operates a state-of-the-art, one-mile-long, ship-loading conveyor system, capable of loading vessels at a rate of up to 3,000 net tons per hour. This 48-inch-wide conveyor system handles a wide variety of raw materials and by-products from steel mills, providing economic value to CMH’s customers.CMH’s innovative use of modern material handling equipment and a strategic location on the north shore of Lake Erie allows CMH to quickly, safely and efficiently load large volumes of bulk materials onto waterborne vessels.
